Why is it called Feb Diary? Is it because it is diary type blog and next month is Feb? No! Feb Diary is an anagram of FairyBed. This text adventure game has a lot of anagrams in it as our more experienced players are aware.
With the aid of this blog I aim to give extra hints about how to solve the mysteries of the game without actually giving away any secrets. With this in mind I will need to approve your comments so that other players still need to solve the puzzles themselves.
Of course, you can ask any questions you like here and I may even answer them … who knows? Time will tell!

eventually got passed goats but how do i get worms, if that is what i need to get rid of seagulls?

I’m afraid you have fallen into one of the many traps of the game! The clue is “Nothing here but worms” – you are digging in the wrong place. Worms there may be but you can’t get them and you don’t need them.
Picture yourself near the sea front watching the seagulls and, more importantly, the people. What is happening?
However, before you can get rid of the seagulls you need to get into the house

ok so Ive got past the goats too, but I’m stuck on the bulls – any clues?

To get past the bulls you need to have entered the house. You will find certain items in there that will help you on your journey. Other items have to be placed in certain locations. You need to find something that you can associate with bulls to help you on your way.

I’ve found the keys, which I assume get me into the house, but how do I get back to the patio to use them?

If you wrote the answers to your anagrams down and spoke to the dwarf, you should have a very good idea about how you get out of the ‘woods’. You have got so close that when you finally work it out you’ll probably kick yourself! Of course, it may help if you know the name of the house!!

Hi Will,
To get the toys you need something to carry them in. However, before you obtain a suitable receptacle you need to carry out a couple of minor tasks!
I take it that you and Jo are battling each other but if you compare notes you will find that both of you are carrying something that would look nicer if you did something with it …

I’m so stuck! Do I need to decorate the bathroom & am just using the wrong command? Or am I barking up the wrong tree?

The bathroom “could do with a bit of decoration” … have you received a phone call from Taid about the bathroom? What, exactly, did he say?
